When a government threatens its citizens with torture (beatings, canings-even for minor non violent offences) and has an arbitrary mandatory death penalty leading the world with hangings, limits individuals freedoms such as freedom of speech or assembly etc., holds no jury trials for those accused of crime, controlls the media, and governs in an authoritarian manner, why wouldn’t a country be perceived to be safe, clean and green?
THE CIRCLE LINE!

I wonder why they keep going on about MRT trains! I’m proud to be a Singaporean too! Uh, and even teachers speak Singlish sometimes, you know! Although I score pretty well in English (not boasting, just stating a fact), when you hear me speaking English, you’ll probably think I’m in the last class!

Great to know our SMRT has some pretty impressive achievements. But I disagree about being that multi-racial – compared to other bigger countries we only have 4 races – one of which is near non-existent.
Singapore: Multi-racial on the outside..but Anti-racial on the inside..go figure..
that was fantastic… I had no idea!
